I think they just accessed a second ranch ("OO") to open up for treks, I
believe it is connected to Philmont Camping Center also. I am sorry I do not
know for sure but if you call or e-mail Philmont they can be of more help. I
thought I saw a flyer there at Philmont about Ranch "oo" offering Philmont
treks also? Since I am not a trekker nor trek mined for next two or three
years (then son will be 14) I did not look too close. This ranch is suppose
to be connected directly to Philmont and offer same stuff as Philmont. But
please get straight from the horse's mouth, and ask Philmont direct. I am
not sure about my information. Sorry. Thanks. Sincerely, YiS: Jerry Bailey,
(@ PTC end of July) (818) 895-9344, please call me if I may be of any
additional assistance.
