This was the info distributed at Philmont this summer. At the PTC,
Director Brian Gray stated the property was a bequest to the Rocky
Mountain Elk Foundation with a provision that Philmont be allowed to use
the property during the summer.

New High Adventure Opportunity!
Philmont Scout Ranch, in partnership with the Rocky Mountain Elk
Foundation, will be offering a new and exciting high adventure
opportunity for the summer of 2004.  This experience will be offered at
the Double H Ranch located in south central New Mexico.  Crews will
participate in a pristine wilderness environment at elevations over
8,000 feet on a seven day trek.
