I have a 10x12 silicone-impregnated lightweight tarp that I bought from
Campmor about 5 years ago. Weights about 1 lb. It's been used on many
backpacking trips through the years including 2 Philmont treks. It was
large enough for our crew of 11 (both treks). As most do, we used
trekking poles to put it up. It's still in fairly good shape after all
the use including a few major wind storms.
