Page 8 also says; "Philmont will allow a single person tent in the event of an odd numbered crew. (No bivey sacks)."
We have taken our own crew equipment for several years, including bear ropes and bags.
The only thing we have used of Philmont's was the dining fly, Polar Pure and sump frisbee. We've had no problems with Philmont regarding our equipment. Since it's ours, we know the care and history of each tent, pot, stove, and bear rope.
