It's not a candle, but a craft/decorator shop near where I live sells bags
of pinon wood chuncks to go in chimenias (a portable fireplace). I bought a
bag and from time to time toss a chunck on the barbeque - after the steaks
are done - and it brings back memories of the campfires at the ranch. Kinda
keeps the mosquitos at bay too. I guess they haven't figured out that aroma
yet.
I've been lucky so far - no fire bans except when I've been at PTC, and that
campfire really isn't quite the same. Especially if you aren't there with
your family.
Happy Trails,
Roy Fisher
