Dr. Bob,

Thank you for taking the time to share the results of your investigations
with those of us who don't really have access to real software subject
matter experts.

I'm sure I speak for a great many of my fellow scout leaders when I say I
had no idea that these deviant little software programs were as pervasive as
you have discovered.

My system is as old or older than yours, and with dial up I assumed
(incorrectly it seems) that my chances of contracting a viral or spy-ral
infection was minimal. Now I'm going to have to get busy.( I wish someone
would remind me again about how much time these infernal machines are saving
me and how they are making my life easier. I keep forgetting.)

Thanks again for your recommendations, although removing IM could be grounds
for multiple teenager mutiny in this house. Hopefully all the time we'll
save by not having to retrace your early footsteps will be just that much
more time we can spend outdoors with the boys.
