My son arrived at Philmont last Wed to staff NJLIC this week. He said last week there was a lot of rain, with 40-42 degree nights. It's warmer during the day and nights this week, but that's supposed to let up slightly (5degrees) by the end of the week so he's been told 45-48 degrees at night this week. They had a more-than-typical mountain thunderstorm around 6:30p last night but it moved out and was clearing up. They've been getting rain most afternoons but no hail at PTC or Rocky Mountain Scout Camp. Afternoon temps this week so far are about 86-88. Should be slightly lower by end of week to about 82-84.
That's all he said!
