My suggestion is that he speak with Mark Anderson, Director of Program.
If there is a reliable mechanic in Cimarron (or maybe Eagle Nest or
Raton), Mark should know. Or maybe one of the guys on the permanent
Philmont staff can help but it doesn't really sound very promising. In
any case, my guess is that things like this have happened before so Mark
should be able to offer advice.
