Thanks CR for the extensive reply. I've been to Philmont many times (I'm 59
and retired) and just completed our local police academy so I'm in good shape.
Trying to get on a local police force is not easy I've found out.

Anyway, it's just very hard to convey to the adults that you have got to get
yourself ready, mentally and physically, for Philmont months before you go.

You would not believe my mailbox this AM. I was expecting a few replies and I
must have 20 to thirty so far. Most are like yours, very detailed. They are
great reading.
