In 2002 we used Gold Bond powder and it worked pretty well. However, when
the recommendation for Butt Paste was posted to the list, I couldn't resist
ordering a tube. We used it on our final shakedown hike, where the boys
gave it a good recommendation.

We took it to Philmont (610-D), where it came in handy on several occasions.
We never had any real problems, because their was no hesitation to use Butt
Paste at the first indication. I briefly mentioned upon our return in late
June. [I'll post a trip report later... at this rate probably around
Thanksgiving.]

BTW- I see Butt Paste sponsors NASCAR and has t-shirts and hats...
