Hi:
For those of you with sore and/or damaged feet, I'd highly recommend Bag Balm. It promotes rapid healing of cracked and chapped skin. A great product, especially for winter hikes. It does have a strong odor.
I'm curious, did any of the other east coast crews experience nose bleeds at Philmont? We had four cases of severe nose bleeds, probably due to elevation, exertion and low humidity. A daily application of a small amount of triple antibiotic ointment solved the problem.
Thanks much
Mick Meyer
