[Philmont]: Five Philsongs

Thanks to everyone who helped me figure out "Edge of Texas". Over the
past couple of years, I have been expanding my repertoire of music,
including a bunch of stuff off the various Philmont and Rod Taylor
albums. One of the problems with Philmont music, of course, is that a
lot of it is not chorded anywhere - a serious problem for a chainsaw
guitarist such as myself. So I have been working with two "real"
musicians to chord some of my favorite tunes. These were (and are):
Andy Gerhart (SM-134, Albuquerque, NM) and Mark Wray (ASM-167,
Arlington, VA).

The following five tunes are some of my Philmont favorites that had to
be figured out via the "torturing of cats" methodology. If anyone is
interested in them, please contact me off line at drbob@troop111.org and
I will be happy to forward them to you:

Boy of the Mountains (Dave Goldfien, Philsongs I)
Coal Tattoo (Billy Edd Wheeler, Tobasco Donkeys)
Edge of Texas (Peter Crook and Rod Taylor, Philsongs II)
In the Real West (Tish Hinojosa, Riding Down the Canyon (tape))
Runnin' with the Wind (Doc Walker, Philsongs I and Philsongs II)

Yes, these have all already been forwarded (along with a bunch of other
more commercial songs) to Dave Lagesse for his Philmont Songbook Project.

I do have lots of the other stuff too, so if there's something you
haven't been able to find, ask and I'll check.
