Called Philmont today to verify our plans and find out what payment methods
are acceptable.

You try to cover all the bases, try not to miss things.

I swear I read the whole participation guide, and every document they sent
me.

We are taking the train from California. It arrives at 5:30pm or so, so we
arrive a day early.

I thought this was covered. Page 10, per Betty (she is so patient, what an
angel) says

we must ask in writing for permission to arrive early, for lodging that
night and for breakfast.

We didn't. I just did.

Sigh.

Friday: Son returns from Jambo

Saturday: On train to Philmont

Sunday night: Arrive Philmont

Monday: Check in!

Philmont here I come!
