Hi,
I just got back from the jamboree and have a couple of points regarding the Three Quick Questions thread.
1. Regarding water shoes- It was mentioned previously when this topic was brought up (although not this time) that one of the issues with water shoes is the lack of protection in case of a hot water spill. We allow our scouts to take water shoes if they so prefer but the cooks must be wearing boots or other more protective footwear.
2. Someone mentioned putting on vaseline of feet before going to bed. Vaseline is a smellable in Philmont and it is probably not a good idea to wear it to bed. (perhaps the stinky feet cancel it out?)
