Re: [Philmont]: temperature/rain question

Temps and rainfall have followed typical northern New Mexico patterns this summer. July was hot and dry. August has been cooler and rainy, as it usually is. The monsoons have finally arrived, and it's been overcast and rainy for the last week or so. Saw a bit of sun and blue sky today. The fire ban was lifted back on the 6th.

At PTC on Monday 8/8 and Saturday 8/13, the morning temp was right at
50 degrees. Other days it was about 55. Highs were about 85, except
on Friday, when it hovered around 70, but rained most of the day.
