Joe,

Our crew ordered the Gregory Bear Bags from Campmor.
http://www.campmor.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?memberId
=12500226&productId=9204

They were about $29.99 each. Each member of the crew used one. We kept
all smellables in this bag in our pack, thus once we got to the
campsite, the bear bags came out, and up they went. These are not fully
water proof, but we places a hefty trash bag inside to keep the items
dry. Between the two we never had an issue with a wet bag. With each
member having there own bag, it made it much easier to handle.

Don,

What size dry bags did you use and how many did you need for the crew?
Did you have to take a lot of extra time with food breakdown? How much
did your drybags weight?

Never thought about using them before (never really had a problem with
the sacks the give you though). It does sound interesting to try if the
weight isn't prohibitive. They are a bit on the expensive side, too,
but I'd be willing to try a couple that I already have on a practice
hike.
