Don,
I'd be interested in knowing what caused you to have the opinion that the
bear bags are "junk". We just returned from our trek on August 6th (Crew
724-M2) and had no issues with the bear bags whatsoever. They're
lightweight, strong and they tied up perfectly with the system our ranger
showed us. We had no reasons to even THINK they were sub-par for their
intended use.
