I had reported earlier that on our trek (808-K) I gained weight.
Well, in the last five days, I've dropped 7 pounds, so now I'm a
bit lighter than I started.
I guess that C-squared stuff is finally exiting my system and
my real weight is showing up. Or maybe the high salt content
in the Philfood made me retain the water. Anyway, I haven't
phelt better in years. Nothing like a Philtrek to really
make you feel Phit.
More bits and pieces from our trek:
Harlan was fun, but being the end of the season, they told us
there would be no further supplies an we were only allowed to
reload one round. Also, no camp allowed us to do the program
if we were not scheduled for it, and no camp allowed us to do
it twice (or we'd have still been there shooting the 30-06).
We wanted to hike through 'Cito on our way to Clark's Fork, but
we were told at Sawmill we would not be allowed to do the rock
climbing program there (we missed out at Harlan because of the
rain). That was a bit disappointing for the boys.
Regards
Don Roberts
