for our treks in 2002 and 2004 we gathered copies of prints and digital images and created a memories CD.  This was structured in web page format (each photo had it's own page)  and linked to the previous and next pages.  A narrative (text) was also included about the adventure as well.  The 2004 presentation got a little more creative and included the shakedown trips (8 of them) and a fancy Philmont map - where there were "hot spots" were if you clicked a camp we stayed at, it would link to that section of web pages.

This was distributed via CD to each participant.  Each Participant walked away with over 1000 images.  Also included on the CD was a short presentation of "highlights"  Mainly the landscapes, etc - basically there were fewer people in the pictures.

During the Philmont presentation (slide show), all scouts received their Philmont Crew Photo, Duty to God patches, some gentle ribbing and recollection of the more memorable moments.  Refreshments also included some Philmont trail food so the people who did not attend could sample.

Hi all --

We are planning a little get-together to celebrate our Philmont trek with our families, and am hopeful (actually positive!) that you will have some great ideas for making the party memorable.

Your ideas?
