For years I've used Dan Yoder's site to model treks and to provide my crews
with information during the trek selection process. (see
www.troop6bsa.org?cmd=philmont for more on our trek selection process).
For the first time in recent memory Dan has not updated his site and my
attempts to contact him have gone unanswered. As I'm unaware of any other
sites with the power and flexibility of Dan's, I've chosen to start from
scratch and build one myself. If there is a site other than Dan's I'd love
to know that before I put too many hours in this.
Before I get too far down the road ... I have a basic version running with
but two of 2006 treks currently loaded ... I'd like to know what the
community desires in such a site and I'm looking for a few individuals to
take it out for a spin before I make it generally available.
Answer's off-list please using the topic line above.
Thx and YIS
Jim
