You should not be amazed when a young man decides to emulate his role
models! ;-)
Several years ago we had a new scout join the troop. One night he showed up
wearing his father's red wool jacket with large, 1960s Jamboree patch on
the back. He asked me if he should take it off. I told him to wear it
proudly and I'd take care of the uniform police if they came after him.
They didn't. He's now an Eagle and has grown into the jacket - in many
ways!
