[philmont] PSA reunion

The reunion was awesome. We got to meet lots of new people, and take day
hikes out to Zastrow and Abreu. I was able to catch up with an old buddy, who
was on his next to last day on his trek at Zastrow. We brought his crew some
Crispy Creme donuts, and snacks.

The highlight of the weekend was a jam session by three members of the
Tabasco Donkeys and Rod Taylor. If you have ever listened to their CD Sawing on the
Strings, you know they are a great group. Three of the original members were
present, and played for us from 8:00 PM until 11:00 PM or so. Many of the
songs they played are heard at backcountry camps each summer. Rod did a great
job also, playing several classics. There were also a couple of other singers
present, who did a great job. Andrea from the backcountry warehouse played
several great songs, including one she wrote herself.

There was a silent auction that raised about $1500 for Philmont. There are
going to be several other items on Ebay soon, with the profits going to
Philmont.
