I went to Philmont in 2004 and am going back again in 2007. Can someone
please provide some information about the "NEW 2007 requirement
regarding American Red Cross Wilderness"? Who requires it? Who offers
the training? Who has to have it? Thank you
First Aid

Requirement Course offering Louisiana

Like many here planning a 2007 Trek, I have been concerned about
meeting the NEW 2007 requirement regarding American Red Cross Wilderness
First Aid. For those in Louisiana, The Acadiana Chapter (Lafayette) will
be
offering the Class December 27th - 29th. 9:00am - 3:00pm. The fee etc
has
not been set. I spoke with the instructor tonight and got confirmation
on
the course offering.

If interested shoot me an email and I will keep you posted as I
learn more. The instructor is going to be Pamela Rayburn with the Red
Cross.
