Pack cover, rain jacket with pit zips, gaiters and rain pants go in
the top of the pack, easy to get to. I usually don't wear rain pants-
I wear gaiters with quick drying clothes. For a hat, mine has a wide
brim, with the top and brim solid, however the vertical part is pretty
much vented - I sweat a lot and need the ventilation. Normally I don't
put on the rain pants unless it is cold.
