Steve;

Your Osprey Pack is probably relatively waterproof already. I would go with
an 80L Pack cover. We had rain every afternoon on our trek in late July and
August. My REI pack cover on my Arcteryx pack kept it dry the entire trip.
I kept my cloths in a water proof bag inside my pack anyway-it was easy to
pull it all out the pack if needed to get something out and it may be
raining when you need to get into the pack and move things around anyway.
The extra bag does not weigh much more either. It only takes a couple of
minutes to put on the pack cover on when the clouds roll in.
