It's been a pretty good summer, as always! Just don't let any Explorers chase you into a garbage can... :)

All crews come off the trail tomorrow, April 20 (52 crews).  All staff  (about 200) still in the back country will return to basecamp.  All remaining camps  (about 20) will gather.   It is raining in basecamp, as I write this email.  Guess we may have some wet tents and flys to contend with tomorrow.  About 22,000 campers had a Philmont trek experience.

I think the last of the normal treks are already on their way out of base camp.  A few short treks left, and then the backcountry staff will gather to end the season.  The list will quiet down for a while, until the 07 crews starting getting active.
