Greetings,
I second the REQUIRE rain pants. I debated for a long time about
taking rainpants. I figured that if it rained a couple of hours and
then dried off (which is what I remembered from my trek as a youth),
that I would be OK. I decided to take them anyway and was really glad.
We sat in "Lightning procedure" for an hour and a half in the COLD
rain. The rain pants made the difference in uncomfortable and serious
problems.
