Since the subject has come up a couple of times recently, anyone have an
opinion about gaiters? I remember hiking at Philmont in late July in
2004 and thinking that I wished I had a pair to keep my socks dry and my
boots "rockless". Which ones worked well? Which ones didn't? Any
other concerns about gaiters? Thanking you in advance.
