[Philmont] Autumn Adventure Question

I had the privilege to take 3 treks at Philmont during the summer but now may have the opportunity to do an all adult Autumn Adventure trek. Our primary goal will be to see the color of Philmont, especially the Aspens. Since my last trek I've turned 50 and the old memory ain't what it used to be. I would appreciate advice from Calvin or Al or anyone on where to go to see a lot of Aspens.

I remember the hike from Miner's park to Black Mountain, especially along the creek with it's 48 or so crossings, was very scenic and may try to work in that hike as well. Miranda had a large Aspen grove as well.

We're not sure at this time whether we'll set up a base camp or backpack the entire 5 or 6 days. Thanks for any advice.
