Being able to return fuel was helpful for us. We were unsure of our
useage and this was a good service Philmont supplies to eliminate the
excess. We didn't try to give fuel to other crews.
We took two stoves and used one, using the one pot method. We were not
very efficient with our cooking, cleaning and fuel useage. Also, we
decide to take our stoves and empty clean tanks in our checked luggage.
We had to throw our bottles away at the airport.
