[Philmont] Autumn Adventure Question

Greetings

One factor that might influence the autumn foliage this year is the
amount of moisture the trees received. I understand that the area
received a good amount of rain in the later part of the summer - and
while we were there :>) - but I don't know if it was "enough". There
might be information available on the Carson National Forest or New
Mexico Forestry Dept. web sites. I haven't looked.
