There is a nice stand of Aspen trees at Miranda. During one of our AA
treks, they were beautiful. During another AA trek, most of the leaves
were gone.
I saw some photos taken by on of our crew members during an AA in the
south country, I believe in 2002. I'm my son's home in Virginia right now
so I can't post the specific URL but it is available on Selden's Philmont
web page. Look for my 2002 trip report as I believe I mentioned the
location if the aspens in my report.
