Logistics seems to prefer to do the markup on the overall map, and Kevin is
spot-on in pointing out that the route planning and hiking should be done
with the sectionals. I gave several colored fine point Sharpies to the crew
leader so he could carefully copy the logistics data onto the sectional map
without obscuring any of the trails we might want to use. We then left the
overall map in base camp, and had one source for all navigation and
decision-making.
