> From: sb
> Did you leave it on all day and track log your entire trip?
No
> Did you just mark locations such as camps, trail intersections, etc?
Just marked locations
> What unit did you take?
Garmin Geko 201
> How many batteries did you take, was it enough/to many?
I brought spares (AAA - same as headlamp), but didn't need any.
> Did you load waypoints from the internet before you left?
Yes
> Did you actually use it for navigation or more as a toy?
Toy - no map, so not real helpful on a trail. However, did have it to make
sure I got back to camp in right place when day hiking. Didn't need it, but
nice backup.
> Any other usefull information would be appreciated.
It is fun to look at my GPS and say - the top of the Tooth of Time is
exactly 1049 miles from my house.
