I have had many requests for the information on the chairs. This is the
info so you can call and get your troop a chair for everyone.
What we did was to call crazy creek, if we ordered 20 or more chairs the
price was 25.00 each. I don't remember the girls name. The order was
placed by troop 342 in Nashville sometime in late 05 or early 06. I guess
its like a volume thing. I have a few sling lights from 02 trip. I like
the crazy creek better because the metal has a finish in it that sling light
does not. The sling light will turn your hand black from the aluminum.
Also has a better foot on the back stand?
We just retuned home tonight from 7-19. We were on 33, it kicked my butt
this time. I tossed everything I could at each staffed camp.

minds want to know - and I've got a birthday coming up!!!!!

I have this type of a chair. We started with the Sling Lights first, with
these @ 25$ its hard to beat, 16 ounces.
CradleLounger
Item No: 9000 CradleLounger
Chair: 36" x 16" x 19.5"; 23 oz./ 91 x 41 x 50 cm; 748 gr.
Headrest: 16" x 14.5"; 3 oz./ 41 x 37 cm; 85 gr.
This ultra-light framed chair is perfect for hikers and backpackers who want
a portable seat that sits off the ground. Reclined position makes for
outstanding lounging. Can be used with or without the detachable headrest.
Entire CradleLounger folds to only 1" thick for compact transport. Sturdy
T-6 RFG aluminum frame. 70D caoted ripstop with integrated foam padding.
Your step may vary,

I've always used a chair conversion kit (the envelope with straps) that
uses your self-inflating pad or in my case the Z-rest closed cell pad to
make the chair. This way the pad has two uses - chair and sleeping pad. Some
with creaky bones might have trouble getting off the ground or provide
entertainment when trying to get up from sitting on the ground. I think
Therm-a-rest's conversion weighs 7 or so ounces.

I really enjoyed having a Crazy Creek chair with me. Having a way to
rest my back was important to me. I'm 6'-2" and the tall version gives
great back support. The chair can either be carried in your pack or you
can clip the straps on the outside for quick access.
It is almost two pounds, but for me it was worth it.
