So it's just a case of comfort over style...... <g> YIS. Mike.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. That Cradle Lounger (or
Slinglite) chair is one ugly chair to pack. It makes you look like you
don't know what you are doing...

Evidence:

_-_100.jpg (that is me on the CDT last month)

There is just no elegant way of packing it. No matter what you do, you
look
like an absolute greenhorn... until you get to camp and sit in it. Then
you
are eyed with envy.

I carry a Gregory Whitney pack. I run the two sleeping pad straps through
the bottom of the frame, then use 2 short straps attached to my side
compressors to attach the top of the frame. Takes about 20 seconds to
attach or take off. Trying to work out a faster way with Velcro straps up
top...

I'm leaning towards replacing it with a Slinglite, but as a convert to the
ultralight style of backpacking, I'm wonder what's the best way to carry
it.

Everyone that I see that has one simply straps it to the outside of their

pack - anyone know a more elegant solution?
