A couple of folks have supplied gps tracks and photos to nail down the
ridgeline / meadow approach to Baldy.
There are two routes in Philsearch now, one from Copper Park, that has some
photos attached, and another a loop from Miranda taking both sides of Baldy
that contrasts the degree of grade and distance covered by these two
approaches. Easiest way to find these is to select the routes fromthe 'New
Stuff' headline on the home page and look for routes that start with "Baldy
via ..."
I have another dozen or so photos to process, including a spectacular
panorama from Julian Love and some unique and equally awesome shots of Baldy
from an angle we don't often see from Dr. Bob ... I'll try to get all these
all up later this evening.
I could still use more stuff, gps tracks from any trek and photos on, or
off, the needs list. Check out the rather unique routing taken by a crew
this summer from Urraca to Shaffers via the Tooth including a hike up the
'pasture trail' ... Ouch.
Thanks to Stephen, who hopefully will send along his last name, for the
Miranda-Baldy loop GPS track.
Please include the Photographers name, location where the photo was taken,
Troop # (including city & state), trek #, expedition number and year so I
can include proper photo credit.
Thanks
YIS

Steve, if you took any pictures on that ridgeline it would be great to
pass them along to be included in the Philsearch project.
