I had one of those special Philmont moments at Baldy Camp. I
purchased two of both the light and the dark chocolate Toblerones as I had
never had either. After taking one bite, I realized that I did not like one
of them, I think it was the milk chocolate. My crew was showering so I was
visiting with another crew advisor on the porch of the Baldy Camp trading
post. That crew was making a serious dent in the chocolate inventory.
One scout in his crew was not eating anything as it turned out, he
was without cash. I offered him the remainder of my Toberones (1 & 7/8ths
of a bar) and his eyes lit up and the snack was on as was his smile. One of
those unforgettable Philmont moments.
