Don't forget the Philmont Field Guide, available at Tooth of Time Traders, pp. 114-134. One copy should accompany each crew and be kept at the top of someone's pack. For the times you just want to sit down and figure out what kind of rock (or flower, or tree, or bird, or ground squirrel) you are observing.
