[Philmont] Coverage on the Tooth, Baldy, Phillips, etc..

One of our youth had a Cingular phone (I think) and he had perfect
covereage on the top of Baldy. Of course, you could SEE the cell phone
tower down the other side facing Angel Fire..... But he let everyone make
a 2 minute call home from the top of Baldy, surprising many parents back
home with news mid-trek. YIS. Mike Conkey ('76, '02, '04 and '07).

Hello

I agree with the comments about coverage at the PTC. Verizon, even with
trimode phones, had zeo coverage anywhere. Even when we went on the tour
and stopped at Cell Phone Hill we had no coverage. Cingular people had no
problems. Mr. Verizon and his army has not been to the PTC area.
