[Philmont] autumn adventure

During AA treks, we've been dropped at these locations:

New Abreu
Beaubien (twice)
Cimmaroncito
Miranda (twice - but several people hiked in from the Maxwell Turnaround)
Ponil
Zastrow
Simple Simon's

In '96, we backpacked from the Cito Turnaround to the Hunting Lodge in 6"
-10" of snow. That took about 4 hours. One crew member, a late arrival,
was transported to the Hunting Lodge in a Suburban. He had a nice fire
going in the pot-bellied stove when the rest of us arrived. So, sometimes
arriving late does pay off.
