[Philmont] 2008 medical form

Not going ro debate it, just gonna report what I know first hand.

Running a council contingent guarantees that you will need additional copies
of the medical form, if a crew can lose 1 a council can lose a dozen. Every
year we ask camping registration if we can copy the form or pdf the form.
The response is no, we will send you more and in a couple of days a bulky
envelope arrives.

That said I'm hard pressed to think that an individual would be kept off the
trail because they have a photocopies medical.

So, I guess, independent of what's printed on the sheet, the ranch wants
their cardstock 6 page form ... and if you ask thats the answer you will
get, I'm certainthat somebody on this list that went in 2007 can report that
they turned in one or more photocopies.

It does say on the 2007 form, right above the participants' signature,
"A photocopy of this form may be used in lieu of the original."

I had heard that CHQ requires original signatures, but not necessarily
on an original (black & red printed) form.

I suspect that those are mailed to the crews in the spring as they did
this
year. One must use an original form not a printed copy. FWIW
