Mike they don't have any age limits as far as I could tell. And believe me,
I did notice all the "Old" guys and gals working there (with some envy).
However, I think you might have to modify your picture of yourself as a
"Seasoned Ranger". It was my understanding that they use the 18-21ish year
olds as rangers for two reasons: 1) Youth = Stamina (Think Search and
rescue, night hiking for evacuations, finding lost crews, etc.) and 2) The
youth that they serve make a better connection with someone closer to their
age. This makes a lot of sense and like most things done at the Ranch, it
works well.
I hate to break your bubble, but this gives you time to pick another
favorite job.
For my own part, I'll fill in where ever they may find a spot for me.
(EXCEPT the dining hall.)
