[philmont] Crazy but cautious

        Actually I had it right.

It's original and it hung on the wall, front and center above the chalk board of my science classroom each and every day I taught. To 15 year olds, a 27 year old teacher is an old man and instead of getting my drawers in a knot over disrespect, I flaunted it and got on a level with the students.

That being the case and the fact that one can mever quite figure out what's comming next from John LeBlanc made them focus on each and every word for fear they would miss the good stuff. And I never repeated anything. If they missed it, they missed it and forbid anyone tell them what I said while in class. That made it all the more important to "tell it all" after they left the room which is the whole purpose of it all. Make kids want to talk about the subject at hand.

If you do that in your troops, intensity and success magnify astronomically.

As for the crazy part Craig suggests, I'll subscribe to that one too.

  Crazy but always cautious.

That's why I like to take walks in the cold rain.

  John:
I believe the line you're looking for is from an old episode of "Night Court" with Harry Anderson:

"You may be younger...you may be faster...you may even be smarter...but you will never, ever, be CRAZIER...than ME!!!"
