[philmont] quest for adulthood

One of the things I hope my Scouts take out of the program is the ability to PLAN a camping trip, whether with their college buddies, their future wife and kids, or their son's Scout troop down the road.

I have had some (although not universal) success in this regard. Particularly some success with a couple of Eagle Scouts who, while Star and Life, kicked and screamed about being seen in their uniforms, but now plan excellent trips for their friends, girlfriends and family members, handling all of the set-up and cooking chores so the "visitors" can have a great time.
