I second Dan's opinion on the best tasting water is from the Pisgah National Forest, near Canton, NC. But what would top that is when your sitting around the campsite eating newly picked wild blackberries and a hermit named TY wanders over from his campsite across the cold mountain fed streamTY was wearing a turbin, a ZZ top beard and carhart overalls and offers to share his fresh brown eggs, angle hair pasta and vietemease hot sauce to spice up the? food!! Oh should I mention the hot cup of coffee mixed with mexican chocolate for the leaders be offered the next morning??
