All right, here we go again. that's what I get for typing while trying to
watch the Sopranos. Disregard some of my first post.
Bags custom made by Hoggans - www.hoggans.com <http://www.hoggans.com/> -
charged us $10.00 per bag - had 10 bags made
6oz 400-denier waterproof nylon canvas
Final size is 28" wide x 36" high
Weight is similar to Philmont bags
Has drawstring and 4 carabineer loops
We use climbing carabineers to attach the bear bag to the bear rope.

Throw para-cord over bear cable. Attach climbing biner to rope and to main
bear bag. That biner becomes the pulley for the oops bag (go ahead and loop
the oops bag bear rope through before raising main bag).
Gotta go pick up Petey now from football practice. I had more but.

Subject: [philmont] Bear Bags
Do most crews bring their own bear bags or use the Philmont supplied bags?
If a crew wanted to bring their own, what are some options that the Rangers
will accept? Thanks
