Can't resist.
The best water I ever had was in 1971 when I was hitchhiking between Phoenix and Flagstaff, and had been stranded for more than a day without food or water. I found a rusty peach can beside the road, which had about 2-3 inches of mucky water in the bottom on top of about an inch of sediment. Man was that water good!!!
By the way, I tried the suck on a pebble trick there, didn't work very well.
