Here's what I found on the Cascade Designs website:

Warranty Policy
MOST DAMAGED CASCADE DESIGNS PRODUCTS CAN BE REPAIRED.
In order to keep our products in use and out of the landfills, Cascade Designs offers a repair service. If you cannot repair your product yourself, return it to the Cascade Designs Service Center. Products that are returned under warranty or for repair alert us to potential manufacturing problems of which we might not be aware.
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY.
All Cascade Designs products are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship without time limit. Return shipping charges to the consumer for repaired products are covered. Should a product be found defective under this warranty, we will repair it or replace it at our option. (Therm-a-Rest self-inflating mattresses more than two years old will be replaced with a lifetime-warranted cosmetic-irregular mattress.)
WHAT IS NOT COVERED.
Normal wear, abrasion, misuse, alteration, abuse, taking apart of the product, or improper washing and drying is not covered. Shipping charges to Cascade Designs for a defective product are not covered. Cascade Designs will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply.

Subject: [Philmont] Need some stove help
One of our MSR Whisperlight stoves gave us trouble on our trek this summer.
Naturally it was fine when we flight tested it before we left. It burned
with a weak flame, like you'd expect if it were partially stopped up. It's
a "shaker jet" model, about 5 or 6 years old. First time I've had trouble
with an MSR stove.
Here's what we've tried:
1. We shook it. We could hear the cleaner rattling around in the jet.
2. We cleaned the jet orifice with the needle that comes with the
maintenance kit.
3. We changed fuel and fuel bottles.
4. We pulled the cable out of the fuel line, and ran it back and forth in
the line to try to break up any crud that might be in there.
5. We completely disassembled the stove, cleaned it, and reassembled.
6. When none of this helped, we switched pumps with an identical unit. The
good stove still works, the bad stove still doesn't.
I'm really tempted to toss it in the dumpster, but that old "scout is
thrifty" thing keeps nagging me.
Anybody have any suggestions?
