There should be a (at least one) cable at all camps (marked on the map at
the campsite). I'd expect that if you have trouble finding one, or if oneis
missing, you should let a staffed camp know.

What proportion of the Philmont campsites have bear bag cables
present? Out of my last five camping trips, I've only been able to
hang a satisfactory bear bag two times. (not enough branches, rope
